At 26 cards the 1990 Pro Set series is one of the largest Browns team sets ever issued. The Browns cards used the brown and orange team colors to highlight the borderless photos on the front. There are five Pro Bowl cards including Head Coach Bud Carson. However he would not finish the season as former Cleveland Brown player Jim Shofner became the interim head coach at the end of the season. Although Pro Set put out a high quality card they were known for their error cards. There are two Ozzie Newsome cards listing his birthplace incorrectly as Muscle Shoals Alabama on the first card and Little Rock Arkansas on the corrected card. Cody Risien's card was withdrawn early and therefore is a shortprint. Pro Set also released a Risien card which was blank on the back.
