The front of the 1993 Bowman set of cards had a game-action photo on it. The back of the cards had the usual statistics and another small game-action photo. However, they also included a lot of different types of interesting facts but used too many colors to separate the information which makes it unpleasing to my eye. Bernie Kosar's card said: |
- COACH'S ASSESSMENT: "What makes him special is his preparation. By game time, he knows the opponent's defense as well as any coach on our staff. He's patient on the field, and you know he's not going to give the game away on a turnover." - Head Coach Bill Belichick
- CAREER HIGHLIGHT: Nov. 23, 1986 vs. Pittsburgh. Kosar completed 26 of 48 passes for a career-high 414 yards and two touchdowns.
- FUTURE FORECAST: Bernie has the arm and know-how to help the revamped Browns become title contenders.
- EX-BROWN AT SAME POSITION: Otto Graham (1946-1955)
- BEHIND THE HEADLINES: Bernie graduated from Miami, Fla. in just three years with a double major in finance and economics.
- OFF THE FIELD: Kosar is a stockbroker in Pittsburgh with the firm Parker-Hunter.
