With the return of the Cleveland Browns to the NFL in 1999 Bowman issued a five-card Browns team set. The cards had a pigskin football border on the front and back. The fronts had a full-length action photo along with blue foil logo and lettering for the rookie cards and red foil logo and lettering for the veterans cards. The backs had either a helmet-less photo of the player or the same photo as on the front. The statistics on the back included three sections discussing different aspects of the players pro career for a veteran or a high school/college career assessment for the rookies. Rookie cards in the Browns team set include the #1 overall 1999 draft pick Tim Couch, #32 overall Kevin Johnson, Darrin Chiaverini, and Madre Hill.
