The 2001 Bowman football cards are a step down from the 2000 Bowman set. The biggest problem is that they printed the player's name with dark foil at the bottom of the card so that it's hard to make the name out. The front game-action photo fills most of the card. Bowman continued using blue on the front and the back to designate rookie cards. The backs of the cards once again have a "Bowman Briefing" which describe the player's resume, skills, and NFL or school history. The rookie cards in the Browns team set include Anthony Henry, James Jackson, Gerard Warren, Quincy Morgan, Andre King, and Michael Jameson.
