The design on the front of the 2003 Bowman cards allowed for a much fuller game-action photo of the player. The lettering was reduced in size from the 2002 set with a blue and red color scheme once again separating the rookie and veterans cards. The backs of the cards gave the same type of information as the previous sets but changed the title from "Scouting Report" back to "Bowman Briefing". The rookie cards in the Browns team set include safety Chris Crocker, linebacker Chaun Thompson, running back Lee Suggs, and quarterback Nate Hybl.
